Kirsten Howard, Student (Art & Global Studies)
Pet: Dog
I grew up with a golden retriever and many hamsters, and currently have two pugs back home. I have always loved animals, and feel a connection with them. I volunteered at a rabbit shelter last year and found a lot of joy in that too. I feel that all animals have spirits just as humans do, and for that reason I have recently become vegetarian.
