I have always loved animals and have felt I can bond with them easily. As a child I had many rabbits as well as fish. When I was even younger a friend and I had snails as "pets". I respect animals as I do humans and this is why I am vegan. I don't believe that animals are any lesser than us and we should treat them as equals.
