I know there are several people out there owning both dogs and cats who strugglewith the co-existance. In this article, De Gruy gives a detailed explanation of how to teach the two to co-inhabit one home. With commands such as "NO! Leave It!" She says persistance and patience are key in training a dog to leave a cat alone. I also found it interesting that she neglected to talk about the possibility of a CAT chasing a DOG, as is often the case in my home. :)
