The kitty is growing up so fast, unfortunately! I really think it?s a hybrid of a cat and rabbit mix, he is so energetic, bouncy, and full of life. I have been trying to collaborate with the kitten, but since he is so young it is kind of a ruff challenge. He is quickly adapting to a humanized life style and surrounding, which I?m not sure if it is a good thing or not. I do think cats are meant to be with and around people, so I don?t feel so bad having him turn into a mini-human =) I was thinking of trying to collaborate with the kitten (Korkie) in a more so artistic way, having him create his own art work with his use of claws. The surface that I want him to work on is a black colored paper, which is scratch-able, and underneath has another layer of colored paper. By clawing the black surface away he could create very interesting designs. The only problem I have is that every time he gets close those sheets of paper he moves around the surface with his claws in his paws and not out. So I?m having a hard time trying to figure out a way of getting him to spike out the claws and become interested in scratching the paper. He?s not interested in the usual toys that other cats and kittens that I have been around were interested. He really likes jeans and the strings that you pull up the blinds with, but doesn?t even have the slightest interest in the cat toys or scratch boards other cats like. As weird as it sounds, I feel like he?s becoming more human than cat by the way he acts. If any of you come up with any interesting ways that you think would grasp a kittens attention into scratching a surface please let me know. Suggestions would be awesome.
