Looking Back; The then and the nowÖ
As a scientist I approach things in a logical way. It is not logical to approach a turtle and ask it how itís feeling today. However in this class I have reflected on many animals I have caught in the past and found that those I consider the most memorable and been the closest to, I did not grab, harass or terrify but simply acknowledged. The nimble capuchin monkey that there was no point in picking up or the huge tarpon thatís was too large to tackle alone in the water. These animals showed me through their size and speed the beauty of connections and this class taught me how to use that.
